External Signage Request

In order to create a uniform look on and off campus, the UA Office of External Relations has created several templates for banner design. The designs are consistent with our overall UA branding and create a stronger identity between the colleges, centers, programs, etc and The University of Arizona. If you are producing a permanent banner, please use one of the approved banner designs. If you are producing a banner for a special event, there is more flexibility but you still will be required to use the UA logo. External Relations can recommend approved vendors to fabricate and/or install banners. The University of Arizona External Relations Office approves artwork and locations for banners. Design Considerations: Your banner will be read quickly so keep your message simple (limit is 8 words — 4-5 words are recommended).

• There are 3 standard banner designs for choose from (see below).
• All banners include the block 'A' and the UA colors of red and blue.
• Each banner is double-sided. The message(s) can differ on each side.

Banner Sizes:

• Standard UA Mall banners are 24" x 84".
• Major street banners are 34" x 84".
• Event banners are 34" x 84". All event banners (i.e., UA presents) require approval by the External Relations Office.

Currently, the banner size is determined by the bracket size already on the pole.
